About Candice Renaker:

I have been coaching, tutoring, and teaching since 2005. I graduated from San Diego State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and in 2010 with a Single Subject Teaching Credential in K-12 Mathematics. I went on to teach high school math at several high schools and at One Spark Academy where I found my passion for teaching middle school math and math electives. After having a child and moving states in 2017, I became certified to teach outdoor classes for young children through Tinkergarten in 2019.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my spouse, our two children, and our dog and exploring national parks together.

My longstanding passion of math has led to a deeper understanding of the content. I truly enjoy math and I can help your student enjoy it too!
